Chelsea and James Keenan along with their five children are the hard-working family behind our high quality pasture raised heritage pork. They are also one of the three families behind Yankee Flats Meats.
The Keenans raise their heritage pigs on pasture all year round. The pigs’ diets consist of non-gmo feed (corn and soy free) and natural forage.
Yankee Flats Meats works closely with local farmers in the Shuswap, Thompson, and Okanagan. You can be confident that when you purchase from Yankee Flats Meats, you are directly supporting small scale local farming and the families who make sacrifices daily to ensure our community has access to local high quality and ethical meat!
You can find Chelsea weekly at the Downtown Salmon Arm Farmers' Market on Saturdays selling Yankee Flats Meats free range beef, pasture raised pork and free run chicken, along with their own Keenan Family Farm Eggs.
