We are now taking bookings for Beef, Pig, and Lamb for 2025.
At Yankee Flats Meats we offer a wide range of custom processing. Slaughter, cut, and wrap services are available for cattle, pigs, and lamb.

POULTRY PROCESSING INFO
BOOKING
PLEASE NOTE, ALL 2024 CUSTOM PROCESSING DATES ARE FULLY BOOKED. We will not be offering custom poultry processing in 2025.
Withhold feed for 12 hours before scheduled delivery. No need to withhold water. There will be a $2.50/broiler and $5/turkey fee for fed birds.
TRANSPORT
Birds must be transported in crates. Crates can be rented for $5/crate (1 crate holds 8 birds). We will not accept birds in anything other than poultry crates.
Crates can be picked up from the farm at a scheduled time prior to your processing date.
Turkeys may be transported in dog kennels or a stock trailer that is dropped off with the birds in the morning.
Birds are to be delivered morning of scheduled processing date between 6:30-7am.
PROCESSING/PACKAGING/PICK UP
Broilers: on request, we can harvest heart, liver, necks and feet for an additional $1/bird. These are packaged in bulk.
Turkeys: Neck, heart and liver will be harvested and packaged individually at $3/bird.
Birds come fresh in standard shrink bags.
Custom labeling is available with for a one time $25 scale programming fee.
Pick up is the same day as drop-off between 4:45-5:15pm. Birds will be fresh, chilled, but not frozen. Entirety of order must be picked up by one individual altogether.
We recommend bringing coolers for transportation.

To book in your red meat for 2025 dates for processing, please contact yfmeats@gmail.com.
We will call to confirm your processing date one week prior.
Withhold feed for 12 hours before scheduled delivery. No need to withhold water. There will be a $30/animal fee for fed lamb/pigs and $50/animal fee for fed beef.
Fill out cut sheets PRIOR to arrival. Please bring your physical cut sheets and any questions you have with you when you drop off your animals. Emailed cut sheets will be charged a $3 admin fee.

TRANSPORT
Animals to be transported in a livestock trailer. Please contact us if livestock transportation is a barrier.
We reserve the right to turn away animals that have not been transported in a suitable trailer.
Please check in with a staff member before dropping off your animals and provide your cut sheets.
PROCESSING/PACKAGING/PICK UP
See relevant cut sheets for processing and packing info. Please note, we do not provide any value added processing at this time (sausage or curing).
Pick-up time estimation can be given at the time of the animal drop-off. Entirety of order must be picked up by one individual altogether.
If orders are not picked up in a timely manner, $30/day charge will apply.

The respectful and considerate treatment of all our farmer's livestock is also very important to us. We know every animal has value and commit to stewarding that value as humanely and professionally as possible.
