Where do you source your meat from?
We proudly source our meat from family farms in the Okanagan, Shuswap, and Thompson regions. These dedicated local farmers raise our animals with care and commitment. At Yankee Flats Meats, we handle all processing and packaging on our farm, ensuring the highest quality before bringing the products to our Farm Shops in Vernon and Salmon Arm. We currently have 4 locations where you can purchase our local meats.
1. Yankee Flats Meats Fine Meats & Farm Shop - Downtown Vernon

2. Yankee Flats Meats Farm Shop & Custom Processing - Salmon Arm

3. Keenen Family Farms Booth at the Salmon Arm Farmers Market

Do you ship online orders?
Currently, we are only offering pick-up for our products and are not shipping at this time. However, if you have a special request or a larger order and cannot pick it up, we may be able to arrange shipping for a fee. Please reach out to us using the form below, and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs!
What are your pick-up locations for online orders?
We offer three convenient pick-up locations: our downtown Vernon Storefront, open Tuesday to Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM, and our farm gate pick-up in Salmon Arm, available Tuesday to Friday from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM and Saturdays from 10 AM to 2 PM. You can also pick up online orders from Chelsea at the Salmon Arm Farmers Market on Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM.
When checking out online, you can choose the location and time that works best for you.
Can I visit the farm?
Our Farm Shop in Salmon Arm is open Tuesday to Friday from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM. During these hours, we'd be happy to have you at our farm shop and to enjoy the views but please respect the following: our farm is still a working farm and a private residence. That said, please be mindful and respectful of our spaces, our employees, and our animals.
