Free run whole chickens raised by our farming family, The McKenzie family in Falkland, BC. 

Our chickens are fed non-gmo grains (corn & soy free) and are raised without hormones or antibiotics. 

Price is $7/lb. Average size of our chickens are 5-7lbs.

Please note, this is a deposit for our whole chickens. Remainder owing will be charged at time of pickup, due to weight dependent prices.

Everything we have tried we have loved!!!

Our Thanksgiving bird was a YF chicken. It was delicious. Excellent leftovers and the bones made delicious stock. We also bought herb and garlic sausages and Mediterranean sausages. We’ve cooked them both. The herbs in both sausages were so fragrant. Best sausages we’ve ever had. We leave Vernon for about 5 months. I plan to stock up on ground beef and sausages to take back to Calgary for the winter. I’m so happy buying delicious local proteins from YF’s.
